71st Annual Meeting

Early Snowfalls Dumps on Annual Meeting, but the Show goes on!
Boise--The National Weather service issued a Winter Storm Warning Tuesday afternoon at 4pm stating that a major storm was threatening the Treasure Valley. By the time the Awards Banquet wrapped up at 10-pm, 4 inches of snow had buried the parking lot of the Doubletree Riverside, and an additional four inches fell over night and it's still snowing.
Terry Jones from Emmett made the precarious drive over Freeze Out Hill and says he barely made it. "It's icy and cars are off the road all the way into town," said Jones. He says its been a few years since a storm of this magnitude hit the Valley. "It just doesn't snow like this in Southwest Idaho," he said.
