Bagley Wins Discussion Meet

Bagley Uses Diplomacy and Inclusion for Victory
Boise--Stephen Bagley of Victor, Idaho won the State 2010 Young Farmer and Rancher discussion meet. Bagley used diplomacy and facts drawn from his own experience to convince the panel of judges to be the clear cut winner.

Bagley never dominated discussion, but drew his fellow competitors out and expanded on their comments to make a seemless, compelling discussion on whether the U.S. government helps or hinders farming operations.

Bagley concluded that the opportunity to farm, safe food protection, and free market system allows our farmers a greater opportunity than international farm operations.

Bagley won a new four-wheeler and a trip to the national competition in Atlanta, Georgia next month.
